Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Thursday accused the United States of obstructing efforts to resolve the conflict in the Middle East.
"The administration of [United States President Joe] Biden is blocking any effort to end the tragedy of the Palestinian people," Lavrov said at the II Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
Additionally, Russia's top diplomat stressed that Washington pushed the Middle East region on the brink "of complete destabilization and a major war" due to its "persistent aspiration to monopolize the Arab-Israeli settlement process."
