A high alert mode was introduced in the ports of Vyborg, Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Vysotsk in the Leningrad region, according to orders published on the website of the Baltic Sea Ports Authority.
The orders stated that the reason for the high alert currently in place in these ports is the "increased level" of emergencies due to drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The area affected by these orders is limited to the "territory and water area" surrounding the ports in question, TASS reported.
