Leon Cooperman acquires nearly 1M shares in Man Utd.

American billionaire and hedge fund manager, Leon Cooperman, bought almost one million shares in Manchester United valued at roughly $16.8 million (£13.4 million), the filing showed on Tuesday.

The news came amid reports that British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS Sports was nearing an agreement to invest in the football club. Last month, Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani pulled out of the race to acquire the Red Devils.
