Loeffler to vote against election certification

Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler said she will vote against the certification of the United States presidential election, which is taking place on January 6. The Republican is taking part in Georgia's runoff election on January 5, when she could lose her seat to Democrat Raphael Warnock. Currently, the number of lawmakers who vowed to vote against certification is not big enough to challenge the election.

Right now, tens of millions of Americans have real concerns about the way in which the November Presidential election was conducted- and I share their concerns," Loeffler told Fox News. "The American people deserve a platform in Congress, permitted under the Constitution, to have election issues presented so that they can be addressed. That’s why, on January 6th, I will vote to give President Trump and the American people the fair hearing they deserve and support the objection to the Electoral College certification process."
