The Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy called the situation on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border "unpredictable" following the operational meeting on Saturday, as the authorities developed an action plan in case of Belarusian forces enter the region.
"The authorities are also considering the option of forming reserve volunteer battalions from employees of the city council and utilities," stated the mayor, adding that the city will form a strategic reserve of products in case supply lines are blocked. "The empire will fall. Ukraine will win," said the mayor reaffirming the city is safe and that "the enemy did not have enough information to carry out provocations."
