French President Emmanuel Macron (pictured left) called on Israel on Sunday to comply with the terms of the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, concluded on November 27. He urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (right) to withdraw the Israeli forces from southern Lebanon, which Israel has refused to do.
"France will take all necessary measures, within the ceasefire supervision mechanism, in conjunction with the United States and Lebanon, so that the latter regains its full sovereignty and that the security of Israel is ensured," Macron said. Meanwhile, Netanyahu's office said Macron agreed to let Israeli companies take part in the Paris Air Show in June, following a ban in 2024.
