French President Emmanuel Macron strongly rejected the latest actions by the Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip that left over a hundred Palestinians killed or injured while collecting humanitarian aid around a truck.
"Deep indignation at the images coming from Gaza where civilians have been targeted by Israeli soldiers. I express my strongest condemnation of these shootings and call for truth, justice, and respect for international law," he wrote on his X account.
Moreover, he called for an immediate implementation of a ceasefire that secures civilians' access to humanitarian aid, following a similar request made by Italy.
