Mastercard Inc. announced on Tuesday that its cardholders will gain "exclusive benefits" to enjoy Netflix Inc.'s immersive in-person events and experiences, including presale tickets.
"We understand that spending is no longer transactional — it's transformational. People are choosing to invest in experiences that bring personal fulfillment and lasting memories," Mastercard's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Raja Rajamannar said. "By partnering with innovators like Netflix, we empower individuals to immerse themselves in their passions, helping to shape the future of how they live, spend, and find joy," he added.
Shares of Mastercard rose 0.97%, trading at $527.91 apiece at 10:49 am ET. Netflix's stock added 0.52% to go for $918.42 per share.
