Third seed Daniil Medvedev ousted on Wednesday unseeded Christopher Eubanks in the Wimbledon quarter-finals, beating him with a score of 6-4, 1-6, 4-6, 7-6, 6-1.
Although the American tennis player managed to snatch the second and the third set, briefly taking the lead, Medvedev turned the game around yet again, coming out victorious in the fourth and the fifth set, cementing his spot in the semi-finals.
At the next stage of the competition, the Russian tennis player's opponent will be either first seed Carlos Alcaraz or sixth seed Holger Rune.
