Speaking at a joint press conference with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo, Michel confirmed the talks will also focus on the funds for helping Ukraine as it is seeking to repel Russia's military operation and join the bloc after Hungary blocked the original scheme.

The statement came after the EU decided to start accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova.
