Microsoft brings Suleyman as CEO of Microsoft AI

Microsoft Corporation's CEO Satya Nadella announced on Tuesday that co-founder of DeepMind, Mustafa Suleyman (pictured) will join the technology company as chief executive officer (CEO) of the new organization named Microsoft AI which will be "focused on advancing Copilot and our other consumer AI products and research."

In addition, Karen Simonyan co-founder and Chief Scientist at Inflection AI as well as some of Inflection's "most accomplished AI engineers, researchers, and builders in the world" will also be part of the company. Microsoft's organizational moves came in an attempt to guarantee "the capability and capacity to boldly innovate," Nadella stressed.

Suleyman posted on his X account that he will be in charge of "all consumer AI products and research, including Copilot, Bing and Edge."
