AWS, Fitch Group expand AI-driven tech partnership

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a multi-year collaboration with Fitch Group on Monday to enhance digital transformation using generative AI.

The partnership will leverage Amazon Q Developer and Amazon Q Transform to improve developer productivity and modernize Fitch's applications, particularly in upgrading legacy Java systems. The company also utilizes Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) to enhance data streaming, disaster recovery, and customer access to financial data.

"Our collaboration with AWS, particularly through Amazon Q Developer, has enhanced our approach to software development and modernization," said Andrew Collyer, Chief Information Officer at Fitch Group.
