Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) imposed temporary flight restrictions at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport to ensure "the safety of civil aircraft flights."

The airport will not accept inbound and outbound flights for the duration of the restriction. The reason for suspending air traffic is unclear.

There have been no reports of hostile drone sightings in the Moscow region.
