A majority of American voters are dissatisfied with the overall state of the country, an NBC News Exit Poll showed on Tuesday.
According to the survey, 43% of respondents said they were dissatisfied, while another 29% said they were angry about how things are going in the United States. Only 26% expressed positive views, with 19% saying they were satisfied and 7% saying they were enthusiastic.
The poll also showed that current President Joe Biden's approval rating stands at 41%, which is significantly lower than his predecessor Donald Trump's approval rating at the end of his term, when it was 50%.
