Musk acquires 10,500 Tesla shares

A regulatory document submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) showed that Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk had exercised options to acquire 10,500 shares of the electric vehicle manufacturer.

The value of the shares the billionaire purchased amounts to around $50,000. Less than a week ago, the carmaker decided to slash the prices of some of its models in the US.
