Musk says US has 'potential for a great future'

Elon Musk stated during an interview on Fox News that he saw a "potential for a great future so long as America remains the land of freedom and opportunity."

"Freedom means that the government does not infringe on your personal liberties," Musk said, adding that "the land of opportunity means that you succeed on the basis of your merits, on how hard you work and how good you are at your job." He stated that "that's what [United States] President [Donald] Trump is committed to doing, that's what the [Department of Government Efficiency] DOGE team is committed to doing."
