During an interview with CNBC, Twitter Inc. owner Elon Musk talked about the recent layoffs at the company. He stated that he believes some of the employees who were let go should not have been and that the social media giant will try to rehire some of the 6,300 workers fired.
The billionaire, however, did not provide further details regarding his assessment of the layoffs or specify which individuals he believed should have been retained.
Musk's comment comes after he made the decision to downsize the company's workforce by almost 90% since he took over the late last year.
