Musk says organizers of Tesla attack identified

EPA-EFE/WILL OLIVER

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said United States authorities have identified those organizing and funding the attacks on Tesla cars and dealerships.

Speaking on Fox News, he reiterated that the administration sees the incidents as acts of "domestic terrorism." Musk emphasized the need to target those responsible for planning and financing the violence instead of going after those committing it. He described those carrying out the attacks as "footsoldiers" and stressed that the real focus should be on the "generals" behind them. When asked if the administration knows who they are, he replied, "We do."
