X Corp. Chair Elon Musk told Fox News on Monday that the massive cyberattack targeting the social media platform earlier today involved "IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area."

"There was a massive cyberattack to try to bring down the X system," Musk clarified without providing further details. In a post on X earlier today, Musk revealed the attack "was done with a lot of resources" indicating that it could have been carried out by a "large coordinated group and/or a country."

Notably, Musk supported United States President Donald Trump's stance toward the war in Ukraine, stressing the need to end the country's long-standing conflict with Russia.
