The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced it will launch the Artemis I lunar mission on September 3 from its Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The mission was supposed to lift off on Monday, but the launch was postponed after one of the rocket's four liquid-fueled engines experienced a temperature problem.

"I think we understand the physics about how hydrogen performs, and the way the sensor is behaving doesn't line up with the physics of the situation," John Honeycutt, program manager of NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) said in a press briefing.
