NATO and G7 countries issued a joint statement on Wednesday after meeting on the margins of the G20 Summit in Bali. The leaders condemned Russia's missile strikes against Ukraine and offered "full support for and assistance with" Poland's investigation into an attack on the eastern part of its territory near the border with Ukraine.
"We condemn the barbaric missile attacks that Russia perpetrated on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure on Tuesday," the countries noted, going on to "reaffirm" their "steadfast support for Ukraine" and "continued readiness to hold Russia accountable for its brazen attacks on Ukrainian communities."
Initial US findings reportedly indicated that Ukraine fired the missile that hit Poland.
