NATO's North Atlantic Council of defense ministers will meet in Brussels on October 12 and 13, the alliance announced on Monday. The meeting will be chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Although the program has not been released, the war in Ukraine is expected to be at the top of the agenda. Earlier today, Kiev once more called on its allies to accelerate the delivery of modern anti-missile and anti-aircraft defense systems and combat aircraft as Ukraine continues its counter-offensive. Ukraine's prospective NATO membership could also be a topic of discussion.
