North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated Wednesday that the alliance will continue its work in extending cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.

"What happens in Europe matters to the Indo-Pacific, and what happens there matters to America," Stoltenberg said at a press conference during the second day of the NATO summit in Vilnius. Moreover, he added that this cooperation is based on growing concerns regarding China and the Korean nuclear program. Therefore, the three regions, Europe, the Indo-Pacific, and the US, must be more interconnected.

Stoltenberg condemned the latest missile launch by North Korea and reiterated the organization's commitment to Ukraine's membership in the alliance.
