NBCUniversal ad head resigns amid Twitter reports

NBCUniversal said on Friday that its Head of Global Advertising and Partnerships Linda Yaccarino stepped down.

The announcement comes after media reports suggested Yaccarino is in advanced negotiations to replace Elon Musk as the next Twitter CEO.

Musk stated he picked the new CEO for the social media company, confirming its a woman, but did not disclose the identity of the person. The billionaire added the new CEO is set to take over the role in about six weeks.
