Netanyahu says no deal if Israel's 'red lines' are crossed

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday met with United States President Joe Biden's top Middle East adviser Brett McGurk and stressed that Israel's "red lines" must be respected in negotiations over a ceasefire and hostage agreement between Israel and Hamas, Netanyahu's office said in a statement.

"The prime minister emphasized his commitment to the deal as long as Israel's red lines are preserved," the statement read.

Previously, Hamas accused Netanyahu of obstructing negotiations and urged the mediators in the process to stop his "maneuvers" and "crimes.".
