Nintendo announced Friday that US retail pre-orders for the Switch 2 will begin on April 24, maintaining the previously revealed launch price of $449.99. A bundle including Mario Kart World will also remain priced at $499.99. Game prices are unchanged.
The company had postponed pre-orders earlier this month due to new reciprocal tariffs, but said today that it hopes this confirmation eases customer concerns. While accessory prices will be adjusted due to market shifts, the console's price remains stable for now.
Nintendo reaffirmed that Switch 2 will launch on June 5, 2025. The company thanked fans for their patience and hinted that further price changes may occur depending on market conditions.
