North Carolina industrial accident leaves three dead

An industrial accident was reported in Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday, resulting in the deaths of three people and the hospitalization of two others.

According to Fox News citing local media, the incident happened at a construction site in the Dilworth area where a scaffolding allegedly collapsed onto the workers, pushing them into the ground.

Emergency services arrived on the scene and worked to secure the area, the Charlotte Fire Department said. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.

30 people injured after train derails in S. Korea
At least 30 people were injured in South Korea on Sunday when a train with 275 passengers on board derailed while entering Yeongdeungpo Station in central Seoul, Yonhap News Agency reported. According to the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), six railroad cars including five passenger cars ran off the tracks. Yonhap said the train was on its way to Iksan and that KORAIL said it is looking into the incident.
