North Korea branded the United Nations Command an "illegal war organization" and called for its dissolution, the country's state news agency KCNA reported.
The UN Command was established in 1950 to support South Korea during and after the Korean War and currently consists of 17 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Turkey.
The comments from Pyongyang come ahead of a meeting of UN Command member states scheduled to take place in South Korea in the coming days.
