North Korea has not yet permitted the entry of United Nations Pesident Coordinator Joe Colombano, who was appointed nearly six months ago, the South Korean Yonhap news agency reported, citing a UN official.

Discussions with Pyongyang continue regarding the return of international staff, who have been unable to resume their work in the country.

According to the media outlet, despite the North's easing of some anti-COVID-19 measures, its borders remain partially closed, affecting the return of UN personnel.
