North Korea fired off an unidentified ballistic missile toward the East Sea on Monday, Yonhap reported, citing South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The JCS gave no further details, adding only that an analysis of the launch is underway. Japan's coast guard said that a projectile thought to be a North Korean missile had already fallen.
