Ukrainian state nuclear power plant operator Energoatom announced that all nine nuclear power units on the territory of Ukraine that are under Kiev's control were connected to the grid on Saturday.
It said that the power of one of the power units is currently limited over its system's "unwillingness to receive all the possible amount of electricity from it," claiming that the facilities of the plant were "again damaged as a result of yesterday's shelling."
"Another six power units of the occupied ZNPP [Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant] have been shut down," Energoatom said, talking about Europe's largest station of its kind, currently under Russian control. The nuclear operator noted that the station continues to constantly consume power from the energy system of Ukraine.
