Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its partners led by Russia could announce a cut in oil production of between 1.5 and two million barrels per day, Energy Intelligence reported on Wednesday.
The final agreement energy ministers will agree on could entail a 1.8 million bpd reduction in the group's total output.
The Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee meeting is set to start at 2 pm CET, followed by an OPEC and non-OPEC ministerial meeting 30 minutes later. A press conference is due after the discussions.
