South Korea's police launched a second raid on the presidential office Thursday as part of their investigation into President Yoon Suk-yeol's recent martial law declaration, Yonhap News Agency reported.
In this search, the officials from the National Office of Investigation arrived at the Yongsan office compound at 2:00 pm local time to gather relevant materials.
The raid followed an earlier attempt on Wednesday, when police sought to search only key areas, including the cabinet conference room, the Presidential Security Service and the Joint Chiefs of Staff bunker near the presidential compound. According to Yonhap, the initial search ended with limited cooperation, as the security service provided only select documents and refused further access.
