At least one person was killed and 69 people were injured when another 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Malatya Province in Turkey, the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) stated on Monday.
Rescue operations are taking place as people are believed to be buried under the rubble after multiple buildings, already heavily damaged by the devastating tremor on February 6, completely collapsed.
According to the data provided by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter of the quake was recorded at depth of 5 kilometers, some 11 kilometers south of the region's capital of the same name.
