Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with former United States President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida after the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) summit in Washington DC wrapped up.

His meeting with Trump, dubbed by Orban as "Peace mission 5.0," came after his recent visit to Moscow, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This meeting was also described by Orban as a "peace mission."

"It was an honor to visit President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago today. We discussed ways to make peace," Orban wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, adding that Trump "is going to solve it."
