The number of jobs in the private sector in the United States rose by 247,000 in April, as the ADP National Employment Report revealed on Wednesday.
The number of jobs in large companies grew by 321,000, while medium businesses added 46,000 jobs. On the other hand, small businesses faced a significant decrease of 120,000 jobs.
The service sector saw a growth of 202,000 jobs, with the biggest increase in leisure and hostility, professional and business services, as well as education and health services. While the number of jobs in the good-producing businesses was up by 46,000.
