Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stressed on Tuesday that Ukraine and the Western countries are trying to involve South Korea in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in order to "internationalize" it.
"Both the Kiev regime and many European countries are willing and are doing a lot to continue the process of internationalization of the Ukrainian conflict and the involvement of more and more countries," Peskov said at a press briefing, adding that Ukraine "is trying to do everything to involve Seoul there."
Previously, Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya accused the West of exerting pressure on South Korea to send weapons to Ukraine and warned Seoul to be "wise."
