Peugeot CEO Linda Jackson stated Tuesday that the most significant danger to European electric vehicle prices is China's very competitive offers.
During the Future of the Car event, Jackson stressed that EV demand is slowing because "people are confused; they hear different messages." Furthermore, she added that different industry regulations, and e-fuel concessions, among others, create "uncertainty."
Her comments come on the same day that the German Chancellor warned about China's strong presence in the European market while also pointing out that the future path of the relationship with the Asian giant lies in an "intelligent disengagement."
