The Embassy of Poland in Syria called on its citizens on Saturday to leave "immediately," due to the security situation in the country.
"Due to the rapid escalation of the situation, which has quickly spread across the entire territory of Syria, we appeal to all Polish citizens residing in the country to leave immediately," the embassy said on X, prior to Syrian rebel commander Hassan Abdul Ghany announcing the insurgents "fully liberated" the vital city of Homs.
"We also categorically appeal not to enter the territory of Syria," the embassy added.
