A group of pro-Palestinian protesters interrupted the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
According to witnesses, the protesters jumped over the barricades and stepped out on the Sixth Avenue covered in fake blood and glued their hands to the street. Some of them were carrying banners with messages including "Free Palestine" and "Liberation for Palestine and planet," while others had words such as "colonialism" and "ethnic cleansing" written on their white jumpsuits.
The police detained the protesters but are yet to say how many people have been arrested following the incident.
