Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation in which they discussed the options for reviving the deal on exporting grain from Ukraine that Moscow previously left, among other matters, the Kremlin stated on Tuesday.
The Kremlin said that Putin asked Erdogan for guarantees that the corridors used for transporting grain will be used for those purposes only. He also again accused Ukraine of attacking Russia's ships that overlooked the transport.
In the same conversation, Putin also informed Erdogan of the results of the talks between Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan about the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, during which all the sides involved promised to commit to "strict observance" of the peace agreement signed in 2020.
