At least nine people were injured in a shooting at a recreational area in Rochester Hills, Michigan, local police said. The victims include an eight-year-old child and have "varying kinds of injuries," according to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard.
Preliminary information suggests the suspect started shooting from a distance of around 20 feet (6 meters) and fired as many as 28 times. A potential suspect has been located in a house near the crime scene and Bouchard said the police are in the process of obtaining a search warrant.
