Two people are confirmed dead and six wounded after the Florida State University (FSU) shooting, Florida State University (FSU) Police Chief Jason Trumbower stated during a press conference.
"Two victims are deceased and five individuals have been transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds," Trumbower stated, adding that the suspect, who is believed to have been a student, is also in the hospital.
Additionally, it was discovered that the shooter was Phoenix Ikner, the 20-year-old son of a sheriff's deputy who obtained his mother's former service weapon, which was found at the scene.
