Putin to meet Austria's Kurz on October 3

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in St. Petersburg on October 3, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov confirmed on Friday, according to TASS.

The two leaders are set to open an exhibition at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg while also holding several working talks during the chancellor's visit to Russia's former capital. The Russian president is expected to discuss a wide range of issues with the rising Austrian chancellor, focusing on trade and energy.

Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously stated that Putin and Kurz managed to create "a rather constructive and intensive dialogue that will be continued."
