The Emir of Qatar and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan extended their condolences on behalf of the Iranian government and its citizens for the passing of 63-year-old President Ebrahim Raisi.
"I express my deepest condolences to the friendly and brotherly Iranian people and government, especially to the Religious Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ali Khamenei, and to the families of his Hon'ble President and other deceased people," Erdogan posted on X.
Additionally, Lebanon declared three days of national mourning to honor Raisi and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
