RDIF offers Pfizer to use Sputnik Light as booster

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said on Wednesday that it has offered American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer to conduct joint trials in which the Sputnik Light would be given as a booster shot to people who have received two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 jab.

Last week, RDIF noted trials in Russia and Argentina showed it is safe to combine the single-shot Sputnik Light vaccine with jabs developed by AstraZeneca, Moderna, as well as China's Sinopharm.
