Raisi to visit China next week

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will travel to China for an official visit from February 14 to 16 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying revealed on Sunday.

Besides Xi, Raisi is expected to meet with businessmen from the two countries, as well as Iranian expatriates in the People's Republic.

The Iranian president will also sign documents on bilateral cooperation with Beijing, Tehran's biggest partner when it comes to trade, according to state-run media in Iran.
