Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko (pictured left) signed on Monday a decree that would allow his government to establish joint military training centers with Russia.
The announcement comes after Lukashenko and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin agreed the joint deployment of military forces earlier this month.
Around 9,000 Russian soldiers were expected to be stationed across central and eastern Belarus under the deal.
