Russia, NATO discussing summit on January 12

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has proposed holding a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council on January 12, 2022, the alliance's press service told TASS news agency on Sunday.

Russia and the alliance are discussing the details of the meeting, according to NATO.

The Russian Foreign Ministry subsequently confirmed in a statement given to TASS that it is considering the offer.
