Russia and Turkey discuss Putin-Erdogan meeting, regional issues

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan discussed on Thursday the upcoming meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Vladimir Putin.

According to Lavrov, they finalized the details of the forthcoming discussion between the two presidents. In addition, Lavrov stated that the dialogue was frank and covered domestic and regional issues.

Previous reports said that Putin and Erdogan will meet in Sochi on September 4. No updates on the date have been given so far.
